The cod is boiled, cleaned of bones and skin and crushed. Soak the onion in a little olive oil, without browning. Beat the egg with 2-3 tablespoons of water where the fish boiled and add flour and beer gradually until a paste is formed, like the one for pancakes. Add fish, nutmeg, chopped parsley, salt and pepper. Using two tablespoons, distribute in a hot pan with olive oil and fry over medium heat on both sides until golden brown and remove on a napkin to remove excess oil.
Pilaful: Cut the onion, garlic and tomatoes into small pieces and the pepper into strips. Put the olive oil and onion in a pot and cook, without the onion taking on much color, add the garlic, mix, then the pepper and the paprika, after 2 minutes the tomatoes. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes and add the rice, mix it well and pour the water. Leave it on medium heat until the rice is cooked, and from time to time stir, so as not to stick to the bottom of the pot.
