Tasty and great effect. If you don't have a shape, you can make balls that you roll with cocoa or coconut, or we can shape the fir trees with a citrus storactor powdered with cocoa.

Method of preparation:

  1. First of all, finely chop the smoked salmon. Put it in a bowl, add dill and cream cheese on top, then incorporate all the ingredients together.
  2. Then powder the work table with flour, put a rectangle of dough about 38 by 35 cm. Powder the rectangle a little and cover it with the other rectangle in the dough.
  3. Use a ruler and a knife to cut a fir tree.
  4. Remove excess dough and take the foil on top.

First we wash and clean the fruits and put them through the large grater. Squeeze a little juice and add the vanilla sugar, grated citrus peel and spice mix and mix well.

Gingerbread Christmas tree

Yesterday I showed you the gingerbread recipe for Christmas and I saw that most of you suspected me that I used the figurines to decorate the Christmas tree. But no, this year I decorated the Christmas tree with globes. I used the figurines, respectively the stars for a gingerbread tree.

Ever since I started making gingerbread house every year, I kept thinking that it would fit very well with a big gingerbread tree, decorated in the spirit of Christmas.

To make the gingerbread tree, we need stars to cut cookies. I took the set from Wilton, on ebay, but you can also use other star shapes, provided they are of different sizes & # 8230

The Wilton set contains 10 shapes and I cut two of each. From the last star, of the smallest size, I cut 3 shapes, because one of them will be the star from the top of the tree.

To glue the stars together we used royal icing, the same one we use to assemble the gingerbread house. On the plate on which we are going to build the gingerbread tree, we place the first star, the largest in size, then we put a little royal icing in the middle of it (about the size of a coin).

We place the next star, of the same size, alternating the corners of the stars. Then again royal icing and the next star in size. We continue to glue the stars, alternating the corners until we reach the smallest star. Glue the top of the tree and let it harden for about an hour to "cement" to be as stable as possible.

Then, we color the remaining royal icing with a little green food coloring and use it to give color to our Christmas tree. While the icing is still soft, glue the "globes", respectively the colored candies.
